||My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.

houses with spoil:
||Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:
||My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy
foot from their path:
||For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
||Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any
||And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily
for their own lives.
||So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain;
which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
||Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the
way of evil men.
||Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.
||Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of
||He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a
companion of fools shall be destroyed.
||Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious
man thou shalt not go:
||Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
||Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he
heareth cursing, and bewrayeth it not.
