||Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy
neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
||But the path of the just is as the shining light, that
shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
||Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that
deal truly are his delight.
||Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth
shall be to them that devise good.
||By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of
the LORD men depart from evil.
||A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that
speaketh lies shall not escape.
||Bow down thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, and
apply thine heart unto my knowledge.
||For it is a pleasant thing if thou keep them within thee;
they shall withal be fitted in thy lips.
||That thy trust may be in the LORD, I have made known to
thee this day, even to thee.
||Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels
||That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of
truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that
send unto thee?
||Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and
instruction, and understanding.
||Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right answer.
||They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as
keep the law contend with them.
